Maryland was formed in Baltimore, MD, in 1860. They were members of the National Association of Base Ball Players (NABBP) from 1867 to 1870. The NABBP was the first baseball organization, operating 1857-1870. Maryland joined the National Association (NA) in 1873. The NA was baseball’s first league, operating 1871-1875.
