March 1884: “The Baltimore Unions’ uniform will either be old gold pants, shirts and caps, with scarlet stockings and belt, or gray pants and shirts, with navy blue caps, stockings and belts.” From the Cincinnati Enquirer, March 2, 1884.

March 1884: “Dubriell & Lowe, of this city [Cincinnati], will make the uniforms for both the Chicago and Baltimore Unions.” From the Cincinnati Enquirer, March 17, 1884.

April 17, 1884, Baltimore (UA) v. August 13, 1884, Baltimore Union v. Portsmouth, VA, at Portsmouth, exhibition game: “The Baltimore Union base ball club played Portsmouth today and were caught [illegally] using two balls, a dead and a live ball.
