August 1885: “The Birmingham ‘s new uniform is unique in colors. The shirts are green, pants and stockings dark blue, caps and belts sky blue.” From the The Sporting Life, August 5, 1885.

August 1885: “The enterprising Birmingham Club, of the Southern League, have togged their club out as follows: the shirts are green, pants and stockings dark blue, caps and belts sky blue.” From the New York National Police Gazette, August 22, 1885.

August 1885: “The Birminghams have pretty uniforms — very different from the puddler suits they wore in the first of the season. They now wear dark old gold shirts and pants with bright blue stockings, belts and caps.” From the Nashville Banner, August 22, 1885. This report does not match others for this team.
