April 1896: “The Wilkes-Barre club uniforms this season will consist of a light blue cap, white shirt, navy blue pants, light blue stockings and a buff belt. They will be used first on May 8 at Athletic Park. The Wilkes-Barre base ball club will leave here on Wednesday night [April 29, 1896] for Providence, R. I.
